Earlier today, Donald Trump abruptly canceled the highly anticipated June summit with North Korea, in which there was supposed to be a discussion about denuclearization. This announcement has created chaos and has shocked everyone, but Trump is far from finished blowing things up.
Trump has just threatened North Korea with war, and in a statement that very much echoes the president’s comments about his U.S.-Mexico border wall, Trump claims that South Korea and Japan are going to pay for it (we all know how well that went over).
Trump made this threat during a formal announcement in which he talked about his choice to withdraw from the summit with North Korea. Trump stated that if the United States is “forced” to attack North Korea, South Korea and Japan “are willing to shoulder much of the cost of any financial burden, any of the costs associated by the United States in operations.”
Trump also stated that he hoped that “positive things will be taking place with respect to the future of North Korea” and that America would not have to go that route.
He followed up with this:
“But if they don’t, we are more ready than we have ever been before.”
You can watch Trump make his announcement below:

Based on how unsuccessful Trump has been in getting Mexico to pay for his racist and disastrous border wall idea, we can only imagine how badly this is going to if we go to war against North Korea.
