    Donald Trump, Media, News, Politics

On Sunday, Fox & Friends host, Abby Hunstman accidentally committed a cardinal sin on Fox News by blurting out the truth about Donald Trump in what has to be considered one of the best Freudian slips on cable news.

During an interview with the short-lived former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramuuci about Trump’s heavily anticipated meeting with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, Huntsman interrupted to point out that Trump was arriving in Singapore cheerfully.

However, her true feelings about Trump slipped out in embarrassingly hilarious fashion.

“There is the president of the United States, Donald Trump, about to walk down those [Air Force Once] stairs, stepping foot in Singapore as we wait this historic summit with the North Korea dictator Kim Jong-un.”

“Anthony, talk to us about this moment,” she said, turning to Scaramucci. “This is history. We are living — regardless of what happens in that meeting between the two dictators — what we are seeing right now, this is historic.”

Scaramucci agreed that Trump is a “disruptive” force in the world.

While Fox fans will undoubtedly dismiss this slip as nothing more than a harmless misspoken statement, we’ve found this video that proves that there is probably more to the former MSNBC host’s choice of words.

Here she is on MSNBC calling Trump a “phony.”

While Huntsman may have sold out her morals for greater fame and a bigger paycheck, it seems that there is still an annoying spark of integrity deep inside her that the Kool-aid hasn’t managed to kill just yet. It looks like another Fox News bot may need to take a little “vacation” so the unit can undergo more programming before being safely returned to the air.

What makes this even funnier is the awkward way her fellow plastic soulless puppets just rolled on, as though not seeming to notice her blunder. Perhaps, the term dictator doesn’t carry the same negative stigma among Republicans it once did? Ah, the joys of cognitive dissonance.

I'm a reformed "South Park Conservative" who has grown passionate about progressive issues like social justice, education, criminal justice reform, gun control, ending the war on drugs, and economic inequality. I believe America's a stronger nation when we come together as one to find a solution and humble ourselves enough to consider other points of view from our neighbors around the world. I don't believe in American exceptionalism, but I do believe America can only be an exceptional place as long as we can be brutally honest about its strengths and weaknesses.
